Our pets are undoubtedly part of the family — so on one of the biggest days of your life, why wouldn’t you want your dog by your side? Dogs love us unconditionally and without question, and having them walk down the aisle with you or appear in your wedding photos carries truly special meaning.

But weddings are busy, and coordinating everything while also making sure your pup is cared for, calm, and included can be a big ask. That’s where I come in.

My professional wedding dog chaperone services ensure your dog gets the VIP treatment they deserve, while you focus on enjoying your day with family and friends. Whether they’re walking you down the aisle, sitting by your side during the ceremony, or simply joining in for some adorable photos, I’ll be there to take care of every detail — so you don’t have to worry about a thing!   • Pre-wedding meet & greet to get to know your dog

  • Transport to and from the venue (if needed)

  • Toilet breaks, walkies, water, food and enrichment

  • Support with their special role (ring bearer, photo star, guest of honour!)

  • Calming presence throughout the day

  • Loving care and company into the evening — as late as needed

🐾 A Personalised & Bespoke Experience

I offer a highly personalised, flexible service, because no two weddings — and no two dogs — are the same. Your dog can be involved in as much or as little of the celebration as you’d like. From quick appearances to full-day companionship, I’ll create a plan that suits your vision and works in line with your dog’s personality and needs.

It’s really important to me that we work together to make sure your dog feels safe, secure, and happy throughout the entire day. A wedding venue can be a totally new and stimulating environment, and I’ll be there to support them through it all — providing comfort, familiarity, and fun in equal measure.

If one of my standard packages doesn’t quite fit, no problem — I’m happy to build a bespoke option just for you.

Covering Cumbria, the Lake District and Dumfries & Galloway. Venues further afield may be considered subject to additional travel expenses.

"5 stars isn’t enough for Emily! We booked Emily to look after our border collie for our wedding at the end of March at Hidden River Barn. Our dog (Milo) isn’t the easiest, he’s a typical border collie and likes to bark at everyone so I was nervous about how he would be on our wedding day. We met up with Emily a couple of weeks before the wedding so she could meet Milo and learn all about him, she travelled through to a field local to us which we were so grateful for. As soon as we met her we knew she was made for this job, she is a lovely and friendly person who Milo took to straight away (which isn’t common). This meeting and the follow up email with all of Milo’s details put me at ease about how he would be on the day!

On the wedding day Emily looked after Milo, took him for walks, kept him clean (no mean feat) and helped us get photos with him. She then stayed with him all night so we could party without worrying about him. She was amazing, knowing exactly what he needed and keeping him fed with lots of chicken! So many people commented how brilliant she was on the day and after.

The icing on the cake was the photos and videos she sent us of Milo’s day! We loved seeing his behind the scenes and his point of view. They also showed how happy he was all day with Emily, playing with his toys and snuggling in with her.

I’d recommend Emily a million times over and I’m thinking of excuses to book with her again! It felt like Emily was an extra friend with us on our wedding day and I know Milo gained a new bestie! Thank you so much Emily!"
