Meet the Team

Emily

I'm a professional dog walker with a deep appreciation for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Their loyalty, emotional intelligence, and joyful presence continue to inspire me every day. I value the unique bond dogs form with people and the way they enrich our lives with companionship, energy, and unconditional love.

After over a decade in hospitality management, I made the decision in 2021 to pursue my true passion—working with dogs. Starting my own business was both exciting and challenging, but it has proven to be the most rewarding decision of my career. Being self-employed in a field I genuinely care about has given me a renewed sense of purpose and balance.

Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast. Whether it’s running, hiking, skiing, climbing, or paddleboarding, I find joy in being active and connected to nature. I also hold a degree in popular music and enjoy bringing creativity into all areas of my life.

Building Tails & Trails has been a dream come true, and I’m excited to continue growing and connecting with more dogs and their people. The positive feedback I’ve received means the world to me—my testimonials truly speak for themselves and reflect the care, commitment, and passion I bring to every walk.

Jasper

My business partner—and best friend—is my dog, Jasper. He’s been by my side through every step of this journey and has shared in all of life’s ups and downs, always with unwavering loyalty and love.

Jasper is a Collie x Cocker Spaniel with boundless energy and a personality full of endearing quirks. He still joins me on most of my daily walks, though lately, he’s started taking a couple of mornings off each week to rest and recharge. At eight years old, he’s still full of life, but he’s also learned to appreciate a slower pace now and then.

His favourite things in the world are hiking, morning cuddles, and playing fetch with absolutely anything—a ball, a stick, a pebble, even a leaf. And when it comes to treats, nothing beats his beloved stinky sprats.

Jasper is more than just a companion— he is the heart and soul of Tails & Trails and I truly couldn’t imagine this journey without him.
